Hours on a Horse

It wasn't long until I developed the goal of going to the Olympics.  At the time, I trained long hours six days a week and placed in the top five at the North American Young Rider Championships (the Junior Olympics of equestrian sport.)  The sport itself doesn't define me, but what is has taught me does.

Determination - Resilience - Focus - Drive - Passion - Risk Taking -  Balance - Teamwork - Goal Setting - Sacrifice - Accountability - Hope - Knowing that Anything is Possible.

After spending 2013 competing at a professional level, I transitioned my focus to school, developing my career, and embarking on as many adventures as I could.  From skydiving to backpacking in the desert to running a marathon to building a school in El Salvador, I have had the opportunity to celebrate so much of what life has to offer.

Life is certainly a beautiful adventure.
